PLEASE TELL ME MORE
LVB first began with the intention of teaching people how to become better movers through barbell lifts. Dr. John Giacalone, owner and founder of LVB, and co-owner of Mobility-Doc, was competing in weightlifting and saw a way to use the sport he loved to help more people to be healthy.

Over the past two years, as our membership went from 0 to 100 members, our vision for LVB expanded. We realized we were no longer just a barbell club. We were also no longer just weightlifting. With that we created our 3 Phase Method of programming, and we created a non-profit club for weightlifting and powerlifting.

Our mission is to treat powerlifting like any other club sport in America. We have two full-time coaches, and we are ready to build our team. Because we are trying to create a true club, pricing will not be the same as a globo gym. But there will be fundraising to help the athletes to train, compete, and travel. Our club is one where any human being can enter through our doors and get treated with respect. There is no room for islands or egos here.

If you are looking to train as a powerlifter, and you want to be a part of a team, now is the time to join. At LVB you won't have to wait for the one squat rack to open up, or send your videos in to a coach who you've probably never met. Memberships begin at $60 to join LVB. You can try us for free for one week if you'd like. And if you know anyone who could benefit from our services, please share this with them.
